Un-American
Laws
It will be
Un-American to illegalize to have a Bible or talk to anyone about God. In
American history there are the greatest leaders who showed reliance on God.
John F. Kennedy, Martin L. King Jr. and Mohandas K. Gandhi are few American historian
that mansion God in their speeches. Americana should have the freedom to learn,
lean, believe, and rely on God.
What does it mean to be Un-American?
When something is against the tradition of this nation institution it is
Un-American." For more than two centuries our fore parents labored in this
country without wages; they made cotton king;...We will win our freedom because
our heritage of our nation and the eternal will of God are embodied in our
echoing demands" (Dr. Martin L. King JR. 181).M. L. King Jr. spoke about
God part in helping this country to be built.
To be American a Law must be in
Union with the tradition of this nation institution. To be American the law
should convey the message that individual rights are valued. " For I have
sworn before you and almighty God the same solemn oath our forebears prescribed
nearly a century and three quarters ago....the beliefs that the rights of man
come not from the generosity of the state; but from the hand of God" (John
F. Kennedy 197).Mr. Kennedy valued human rights not as a whole but as
individuals.
To illegalize the freedom to carry
or talk to anyone about God is Un-American. Why? The nation and it people has
always upheld God. The United State flag and the one dollar bill have: “In God
we trust." Illegalizing to carry a Bible or talk to anyone about God is absolutely
un-American.
